Too many COACHES & CONSULTANTS are AFRAID TO RAISE THEIR FEES and STOP taking clients who are not going to be the right people to work with.
Look, I get it!
I used to feel like I couldn’t charge more and I needed to help everyone.
When I first started coaching, I was being taught how to attract clients who had very little or no money to pay me and were not ready for real help.
Though I made some money, I had a miserable business.
I was working with clients who were not coach-able and didn’t see the value in what I could help them do.
they didn’t want to put in the work required to build their own success.
They somehow thought investing in my services was a magic bullet without any work.
I almost quit my business.
I remember telling myself how ridiculous it was to work with people where I cared more about the success of their business than they did.
I was over it!
I decided to do something drastic to change the game.
I raised my fees by more than 10x or more, and I got clear on who I did and didn’t want to work with.
I started qualifying prospects to see if WE were a fit to work together (not IF I could sign them up as a client.)
I started turning away the people who were not a fit and began attracting the people who were; people I knew I could help and who were truly ready for my help.
I have forty-one years of business experience (I was really under-valuing myself.)
I made many mistakes learning what I learned. I have lost money, invested money and have endured a lot of hard work and sacrifice (many times for little) and I can’t count the sleepless nights and shed tears.
If I can help someone NOT have to endure the same things, there is HUGE value in that!
When I can get clients fast results (sometimes as little as 7-30 days), that is worth much more than the money they pay me, and I no longer feel bad about what I charge.
Besides, if I take on the wrong clients for low fees, it doesn’t leave room for the best clients who will pay me well, value my expertise and appreciate what I can help them accomplish.

- Raise your fees! This is the fastest way to increase your income. If you don’t feel like you can, you may have a problem with your mindset, your target audience or your offer.
- Level Up your offer. A better offer that gives people higher value results will allow you to make more money. How can you solve a bigger problem? If you solve a little problem, you will have to charge little fees. If you solve a big problem, you can charge big fees.
- Track and measure all of your marketing, calls and sales conversion activity and iterate consistently to improve your results. Building a business is both strategic and scientific. If you have no records of what you are doing, you are just spraying and praying.
